4th of July weekend

We have had more fun this summer than any summer I can remember. I had worried that this summer would have been awful for all of us. I think knowing that it could have been the worst summer ever, Greg and I have been intentional about having fun with the girls and creating wonderful memories. We have had several beach trips, been to the zoo and find fun things to do regularly.

On the 3rd we were invited over for a friends birthday dinner and to watch fireworks on the lake. After a great dinner, thank you Burton family, we enjoyed Lisa's birthday cake.

Some of us enjoyed it more than others!!

The girls loved being out on the boat. I was worried that for the first time they would be nervous and we might miss fireworks. I was wrong! Hannah said she liked the boat tipping back and forth. Too soon, they were comfortable walking around, which scared me to death! Hannah even decided that it would be a good idea to stand up on seats, I'm so glad she never fell over but thank God for life jackets anyway!

On Sunday evening Greg cooked out on the grill and we played in our pool. It is only 3 feet deep but big enough for Greg and I to fit in with the girls!
